Yamaha Portable PA System STAGEPAS 1K mkII

Description
Yamaha's STAGEPAS 1K mkII is a revolutionary portable PA system that puts professional-level audio performance within reach of aspiring artists everywhere. This second-generation model builds on its predecessor by delivering an even higher maximum volume and enhanced remote functionality, all while maintaining a simple setup. At the heart of this system is a built-in 5-channel mixer and a wealth of sound adjustment features. With the STAGEPAS 1K mkII, Yamaha has redefined what a portable PA can achieve.
Intuitive Single-Knob Mixing For Fast, Flawless Sound
Despite its sophisticated mixing capabilities, the STAGEPAS 1K mkII is designed to be simple to operate. A single knob lets you control multiple EQ adjustments at once, while the MODE feature provides optimized compression presets for "Speech" or "Music." Make adjustments on the fly, without navigating a complex workflow so you can stay focused on your performance.
Best-in-Class Power in a Compact Package
A 1,100W amplifier powers an array of 10 small-diameter speakers, as well as a robust 12" subwoofer, producing a class-leading max volume. This compact system achieves remarkably wide dispersion, covering 170° horizontally and 30° vertically, for full, balanced sound throughout your venue.
Lightweight, Roadworthy Design
The STAGEPAS 1K mkII's lightweight components and cabinet make it easy to transport and set up so you can quickly transform any location into your stage. Despite its portable size, this PA system is built to handle the rigors of the road and deliver high-quality audio performance after performance.

I previously tried the JBL IRX One, but found it lacked power. The Stagepas was much more powerful, but didn't sound as pure/crisp right out of the box. But all things considered, I prefer the Stagepas for a couple hundred more dollars.
Incredibly professional

I just got this and already tested it extensively. I had many mini PA systems, all of them were build around 2 speakers on stands and an active mixer. They cost anywhere from 500 to 900 Dollars. Compared to this thing they are all toys. Its like comparing a Ford Taurus to a Ferrari. Beautifully crafted, rock sollet, made to last, easy to set up and cary around (comes with a great bag!), and the sound is just incredible. I use it for my keyboards (playing left hand bass), and the bass just makes your pants fly! The vocals sounds absolutely beautiful, and the reverb effect is studio quality, and super easy to deal in. It cost money, but it is worth every penny, especially after they just dropped the price. Highly recommend it!

This line array will save my back and consolidate gear for our small and mid-size gigs. I tested out the Bose L1 Pro 8, but they won't accept coupons which made this system the obvious choice. It has amazing bass and clarity with some serious power over the Bose system. I can't say enough great things about the in-store customer service from John at the Dayton Guitar Center. He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable which made this a great transaction. Thanks Yamaha and Guitar Center!
