The THR amps are all great. I have owned the THR 5 and THR 10. This is a fantastic portable amp with tons of options. But for the price there are better amps that sounds so much greater and has 4 times the power. I can'r believe it doesn't have phantom power. So if you are using a condenser mike you will have to get an external power source like the Xvive which is a wonderful option. I love so many of the very creative options this amp has but it just wasn't that great of a sound compared to the Fishman Artist which I ended up buying.

I have owned the THR 5 and THR10. I love all the features especially the Line 6 Wireless setup. HOwever, there seems to be a compatibility issue with my McPherson CArbon Fiber Sable LR Baggs pickups and the Line 6 GT-10. I don't know what I am going to do. I may have to return the THR30.

This might be a stupid question, but is it possible to plug your headphones into this amp and listening to it through that instead? I live with a roommate who sleeps during the day (he works the nightshift) and I don't want to wake him up while I'm playing.
