Experience the rich, resonating tone that only solid woods can produce with the Blueridge BR-143 Historic Series 000 acoustic guitar. Crafted with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, this guitar creates warm, balanced tones perfect for singer-songwriters and fingerstyle players. The smaller 000 body size provides focused, articulate sound with enhanced midrange that cuts through mixes.

Solid Woods for Premium Resonance

The BR-143's solid Sitka spruce top is renowned for its clarity, projection and responsive midrange. Hand-selected mahogany back and sides add warmth, depth and balanced overtones. Together, these tonewoods produce the open, resonating sound that has made Blueridge guitars famous. Scalloped bracing optimizes the top's vibration for a broad tonal range.

Comfortable Neck and Fingerboard Promote Fluid Playing

The slim mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard were designed with playability in mind. The neck's contour and medium action allow for fast, easy transitions along the fingerboard. The fingerboard's smooth rosewood construction and width at the nut provide a comfortable playing surface for intricate fingerpicking passages. Overall, the BR-143's neck and fingerboard make it very hard to put down.

I own 4 martin guitars. This makes an excellent practice guitar. It's easy to play, and sounds pretty good.

An amazing player that punches far above its price point. I've had this guitar for over a decade, and its held up beautifully. Still looks like the day I bought it. Plays very well. Awesome for fingerstyle. If it was lost or stolen, I'd likely buy it again.
