collapse expand iconDescription

The Bose Sub1 powered bass module pairs with nearly any portable PA to deliver earth-shaking low end down to 40Hz. Featuring Bose's groundbreaking 7" x 13" high-excursion RaceTrack driver, Sub1 produces the impact of a traditional 12" woofer in an ultra-compact enclosure. With 480W of Class D-power, this mighty module pumps out rich, full bass for small- to mid-sized venues.

RaceTrack Driver: Big Bass, Small Size

Sub1's innovative RaceTrack driver uses an oval shape to provide maximum cone area and excursion in a minimal space. This breakthrough design allows Sub1 to reach lower frequencies and higher volumes than conventional drivers of the same size, all while maintaining a slim, easily portable profile. Sub1's compact yet capable build makes touring and setup a breeze.

Seamless Connectivity

Connect Sub1 to a Bose L1 Pro32 system using the included SubMatch cable for a plug-and-play experience. SubMatch automatically calibrates Sub1 to the L1 Pro32, optimizing the crossover and EQ for full, rich sound. With a single cable providing power and digital audio, setup only requires one outlet. Sub1 also pairs easily with third-party PAs using standard XLR or 1/4" inputs.

Cardioid Mode: Focus Your Bass

For directional low-end coverage, stack two Sub1 modules and activate Cardioid Mode. Cardioid Mode uses phase-inversion to focus bass energy forward, reducing unwanted sound behind the speakers. This is ideal for outdoor events or keeping stages feedback-free. Place Sub1 modules side by side, then press the Cardioid Mode button on the rear panel of one unit. Bass will now project primarily from the front of the stacked modules, allowing you to direct energy exactly where you want it.

Roadworthy and Ready to Perform

Sub1's rugged enclosure and recessed controls were built to withstand the demands of touring and mobile use. Integral M20 threaded inserts allow mounting Sub1 to an optional Bose pole for elevated coverage. With exceptional power, portability and connectivity, Sub1 empowers you to deliver full-range, full-impact sound wherever the gig takes you. Experience the visionary Bose Sub1, the peak of portable PA.

This sub kicks like a 12 inch but weighs 10 pounds less. It's upright design to transport make it easy to maneuver and when laying on its side you can insert a speaker pole. The bass is really deep sounding. We matches it with QSC cp8 tops for small shows.
