The Bose Sub2 powered bass module redefines portable low-end performance for live musicians and performers. Combining the output of a 15" woofer into a sleek, compact 10"x18" enclosure, this subwoofer is powered by a neodymium RaceTrack driver designed for exceptional clarity and extended bass response down to 35Hz. Its innovative design delivers full, rich bass while remaining highly efficient, requiring minimal wattage to achieve powerful sound. Whether used alone or stacked with multiple units, the Sub2 is a compact powerhouse engineered for live environments. Bose's expertise in acoustic engineering ensures this module produces incredible bass output with remarkable precision, making it an essential tool for performers seeking chest-thumping low end. Its streamlined design and advanced technology provide bass that fills the room without taking up valuable stage space.

Compact Design With Powerful Low-End Output

The Sub2 bass module features Bose's revolutionary RaceTrack driver, which combines the performance of a 15" woofer into a slim, 10"x18" enclosure. This design ensures deep bass response without the bulk of traditional subwoofers, offering frequencies as low as 35Hz with clarity and precision. Its slim profile not only makes it easy to transport but also fits comfortably into tight spaces on stage. The high-excursion driver provides full low-end impact while dispersing sound evenly throughout the venue. This compact yet powerful configuration offers live performers a portable solution for delivering impactful bass without sacrificing sound quality or stage real estate.

Flexible Performance With Cardioid Mode

The Sub2 offers advanced flexibility for live setups, including the ability to stack multiple units or engage Cardioid Mode for directional bass control. Cardioid Mode focuses low-end energy forward, minimizing unwanted bass spill to the sides and rear, which is ideal for reducing feedback and keeping stage microphones clear. This versatile feature allows performers to tailor the bass output to their specific environment, ensuring a clean and controlled sound. Whether used solo or in a stacked configuration, the Sub2 adapts to varying stage and venue requirements, offering consistent performance and dynamic control for live shows.

Seamless Integration With Bose L1 Pro Systems

Designed to pair effortlessly with the Bose L1 Pro32 line array system, the Sub2 utilizes SubMatch connectivity for a streamlined setup. A single cable handles power, digital audio, and automatic EQ adjustments, eliminating the need for additional connections or complex configurations. This integration creates a modular PA system with 180-degree sound coverage and robust low-end support, perfect for medium to large venues. For added control, the L1 Mix app provides wireless access to EQ, reverb, phantom power and more, ensuring performers can fine-tune their sound with ease. Together, the Sub2 and L1 Pro32 offer a high-performance PA system that combines precision with simplicity.

Rugged Build for Reliable Performance

The Sub2 is built to withstand the demands of life on the road, featuring a durable enclosure and premium components designed for consistent performance in varying environments. Its efficient design ensures cooler operation, even at high volumes, providing reliable bass output from venue to venue. Compact and lightweight, this module is easy to transport while maintaining the robust durability needed for continuous use. Whether you're performing on small stages or large venues, the Sub2 delivers powerful low end with a build quality that stands up to the rigors of touring and frequent live use.

Portable Power for Live Performers

The Bose Sub2 Powered Bass Module is tailored for musicians and performers who demand impactful bass without sacrificing portability. Its compact design and streamlined setup make it a practical solution for gigging professionals, while its advanced features ensure optimal sound quality in live environments. Whether used independently or integrated into a Bose L1 Pro system, the Sub2 delivers the clarity and low-end power needed to transform your performance. Elevate your live sound with a subwoofer designed to meet the real-world challenges of modern music production.

Does the F2 sub hit harder than S1 sub

Note the F2 sub produces low frequencies down to 38 hz and Sound pressure or Spl and max loudness of 132 db The S1 Sub produces low frequencies down to 37 Hz and max SPL of 129 db peak performance. So I would recommend the F2 if you are a band playing both in and outdoors as the additional SPL will prove more favorable over the very tight differences in low frequencies which are practically on par. The additional 3db of sound would be more important for bands and multipurpose usage. I own the F1 mains and this series does not disappoint

I use this sub with the L1 Pro 32 for DJing at outdoor events. My first one died but Bose repaired it. Sub is super powerful, carries well over large areas, and is simple to setup. Would buy again.

Bose provides no specs on The Sub2 and I don't have one to check. I don't know what's in it. I like the 2x10 of the F1

I am looking to replace Bose-bass-module-700-wireless-subwoofer for this Sub2. Question is, is this sub 2 compatible with the Bose SoundTouch 300 and does the Sub2 bass vibrate louder than the 700 wireless. I am only using this as a home theatre system.

Features Add powerful bass to your portable PA system with low-end range down to 35Hz Go from vehicle to venue easily with a slim design featuring a unique 10”×18” high-excursion neodymium RaceTrack driver; performance that rivals a conventional 15” woofer with a smaller footprint Stack multiple Sub2 subwoofers for even more bass or unleash Cardioid Mode for focused, directional performance that steers the bass out front and decreases feedback Combine seamlessly with Bose L1 Pro32 portable line array via proprietary SubMatch connectivity, which delivers both power and audio over a single cable Pair with other powered loudspeakers via line input and output with selectable crossover modes, plus integrated threaded pole mount for use with Bose S1 Pro PA and more
