Four replacement packets for the Boveda humidifier system.

The Boveda system automatically protects your instrument against warping, shrinking, cracks and other potential damage caused by lack of humidification or too much humidification. It does so seamlessly without refilling or wetting sponges, snakes or discs. Simply place a Boveda packet in your case and close it. Boveda does the rest, keeping your instrument at a constant relative humidity between 40-50% while your case remains closed...giving your instrument the ideal climate.

    I have five either vintage or very valuable guitars. I have tried numerous methods of humidification. I have found that the Bovida (also when branded under D'addario) humidification system works best keeping the entire guitar humidified since packets are placed under the headstock as well as inside the guitar body. I live in north Texas and with these packets, my guitar case humidity runs on average a steady 44%-47% in the driest times of the year and never exceeds 51% during the most humid. Generally, packets last 3-6 months and I can recharge them a number of times by putting them on a rack above distilled water in a sealed container.
