Bugera BV1001T Veyron Tube 2,000W Tube Hybrid Bass Amplifier Head Black

Description
The Bugera Veyron T BV1001T bass amplifier head packs a punch with its ultra-high 2000W of power. Inside, the Veyron T features a tube preamp with 3x12AX7 tubes that adds richness and warmth to your bass tone. The optical compressor increases sustain and smoothes out peaks, while the Dynamizer technology provides parallel compression for a focused, fat punch. The versatile 3-band EQ, with sweepable mids, dials in your ideal tone. With the balanced DI output, you can plug right into the PA system. The Veyron T also includes an effects loop to incorporate your favorite external effects.
2000W Delivers Thunderous Lows
The lightweight Bugera Veyron T bass amp head pumps out a thunderous 2000W of bone-rattling low end, letting your bass cut through any mix with authority. Despite its high power output, the Class-D design weighs only 7lb., making it easy to transport the mighty Veyron T to gigs and studio sessions.
Tube Preamp With 12AX7s Adds Rich Harmonics
The Veyron T tube preamp utilizes 3x12AX7 tubes to add rich harmonics and a touch of pleasing overdrive when you dig in. The tube preamp provides abundant headroom to capture your dynamics accurately, from delicate ghost notes to aggressive slap and pop.
Optical Compressor Increases Sustain
The studio-grade optical compressor increases sustain for bigger, bolder bass lines. It smoothly evens out peaks, making your playing more consistent. The compressor adds clarity and focus to your tone.
Dynamizer Technology Provides Fat Parallel Compression
The Veyron T's Dynamizer technology utilizes parallel compression, mixing your direct signal with a compressed version. This brings up subtle details and adds punchy low-mid thump. The resulting tone is clear yet fat, with excellent note articulation.
Refine Your Sound With the Versatile 3-Band EQ
The 3-band EQ gives you precise tonal shaping, with low and high shelves plus a sweepable midrange. Boost lows to make your bass rumble, add sizzle up top and sweep the mids to find your perfect tonal center. The EQ optimizes the Veyron T for your personal sound.
DI Output Goes Straight To the PA
The balanced DI output lets you plug directly into the PA system for clean, noise-free sound. Just take your bass and the Veyron T to the gig, dial in your tone and send it to the FOH mix.
Effects Loop Adds External Effects
The effects loop on the back panel lets you incorporate external effects pedals and processors, like chorus, delay and overdrive. Shape your tone even further by adding your go-to effects.

I want to address the manufacturer first...Im aware of Behringer's (sister/mother company to Bugera) reputation for flimsy builds and exaggerated wattage, but my experience with the company has been positive several times over other companies such as Ampeg (especially their newer stuff). This amp blew my expectations away, nice crunchy tube amp tone if dialed in for that. It's not as aesthetically pleasing to look at like a straight up tube amp in my opinion but it sounds very close to it. It is built sturdy with LOTS of ventilation and much smaller and lighter than a straight tube amp. Only negatives are: only way to connect to a cab is via speak on, and it may be too powerfully for most cabs...its 1000 watts at 8 ohms and most cabs don't even peak at 1000 watts, you really have to drop the money on one to be able to handle the amp. Currently I play through an SVT410HE and its not enough. I turned the preamp volume and gain down then turned the master volume up and was able to get higher volumes that way buy i was sacrificing that nice SVT-esque tone I want. I have the BN410TS coming right now just so I can play this amp at a preamp volume high enough for my tastes. That's the only thing I'd caution against, if you get this amp and want the tone out of it, get an 8x10 cab or a Bugera cab.
