Bugera T5 5W Tube Guitar Amplifier Head

Description
The Bugera T5 Infinium 5W tube amplifier head packs the gorgeous tube saturation of a vintage amp into a remarkably portable design. Sporting a single 12AX7 preamp tube and EL84 power tube, it produces the warm, organic distortion and creamy tone that makes players fall for the tube amp sound. But thanks to its built-in attenuator, you can achieve those cranked-amp tones at any volume. The T5 Infinium also features revolutionary Infinium technology to extend tube life, vintage-voiced EQ and built-in studio-quality reverb - making it an incredibly versatile tube amp that you can use to craft your signature sound anywhere.
Crank Inspiring Tube Tone Anywhere
With its EL84 power tube and 12AX7 preamp tube, the T5 Infinium delivers the highly responsive, elastic tube performance that makes tube amps so expressive. You'll love the warm, fluid distortion and rich harmonics. But unlike a traditional tube amp, the built-in attenuator lets you dial in those cranked, saturated tube tones at any volume - from larger clubs to bedroom levels. Just plug in and freely shape your tone without restraint.
Revolutionary Infinium Technology Extends Tube Life
The T5 Infinium features Bugera's game-changing Infinium Tube Life Multiplier technology to get the most out of your tubes. It continually monitors and balances the load on each tube to reduce wear and tear. This lets your tubes last up to 20X longer, saving you money. The Infinium circuit also compensates for aging tubes and AC line voltage fluctuations, keeping your tone consistently stellar.
Vintage-Voiced EQ for Dialing In Your Tone
Tone shaping is simple with the T5 Infinium's 2-band EQ, featuring dedicated Bass and Treble controls. It's voiced just like classic tube amp EQs, allowing you to easily dial in everything from sparkling cleans to bone-crunching distortion. The Phat switch kicks in a subtle midrange boost to fatten up single coils or add girth to humbuckers.
High-Definition Reverb for Studio-Quality Ambience
The T5 Infinium includes a lush, high-definition reverb with dedicated control that takes your tone to pro-studio quality. Dial in just the right amount of pristine depth and ambience to suit any musical setting - from a subtle sheen to cavernous, natural spaces.

I use this for travel, practice at home , studio , live plus not many micro heads have reverb on them for that matter I don't have to carry around compact reverb pedals. What's the point of having a micro head without reverb. Plus the price is right for what it does or offers

I suggest taking it out of the box & testing it first
Bought one last Friday, had an awful crackling noise right out of the box, I had to replace the cheap stock tubes with Groove Tube (preamp) & JJ (power), now it works/ sounds great, also the "tube monitor", infinium deal doesn't even work

Great Class A amp. Beautiful, touch sensitive, fluid, blossoming distortion. Great guitar amp, especially with a proper, high efficiency 4 ohm cab. Think of it as a very inexpensive Fender Champ, with a little phater tone. Great bass valve amp. Match with a pair of TC Electronic BC208s! You'll love the vintage tone. BTW, the 208s work great as guitar cabs too. Very rich, deep, tight, clean sound. Think rare magnet earth speaker tones, always tight. Distortion is lovely.

Buy this thing now! It's been awhile since a piece of equipment has really inspired me to play. You don't need to pay an arm and a leg to get a good tube sound. I used the 8 ohm orange micro cab with this head and it sounds really amazing. Reverb is pretty average though. Not a lot of bells and whistles but the tone you get is truly amazing. It's like a Class A amp and I wanted a tone like an AC30 but slightly darker, not quite as bright but super close. I highly recommend for people wanting to try a tube amp or want a good tone to record from. Also not super loud for shows, maybe super small bars and if not a busy sound. It also has an attenuator switch to help get that tube sound at super low volume levels, for those that hate using headphones or for those that can't blast their current tube amp to get that sound desired. I going to build a custom 8 inch cab with a jenson speaker, gonna try to brighten sound a little more. Love this thing!

Overall a great amp. The toggle switch is vulnerable to a hit from anything like a cord or other object from the side. But that is easy enough to protect against by making a shield of some type that does not interfere with the amp.

I was very surprised with the sound from the T5. The sound is very good and you can tell right away its a all tube amp. I have a G5 and I like them both. I run a pigtronix fuzz pedal and a crayon OD and sometimes I use my mxr prime destorion. This amp takes pedals very well. If you don't use pedals and you want destorion you will have to crank the gain and turn the phat switch on. It sounds good.

Great amp and incredible tube sound from a small head. I have paid more for some effect pedals. It takes pedals well.
