Bugera

collapse expand iconDescription

The Bugera V22 Infinium tube combo amp brings coveted vintage tone and touch-sensitive tube response together with contemporary features. This 2-channel, 22W tube amp is driven by 3x12AX7 preamp tubes and 2xEL84 power tubes for sweet, singing tube character with rich harmonics and dynamic touch sensitivity. The Infinium tube life multiplier technology extends tube life up to 20x longer so you can enjoy consistent tone for years. With two independent channels, built-in reverb and a footswitch for channel and reverb control, the V22 Infinium allows for vintage-inspired cleans, saturated overdrive and flexible effects.

Infinium Technology Extends Tube Life Dramatically

The revolutionary Infinium tube life multiplier technology in the Bugera V22 Infinium combo can extend your amplifier's power tubes up to 20x longer than conventional amps. This gives your tubes a significantly longer lifespan, saving you from frequent tube replacement and ensuring consistent tone over time. Infinium monitors and balances the load across output tubes, keeping them performing like new even after years of playing.

Two Channels With Built-In Reverb For Versatile Tone

With its two independent channels, the V22 Infinium serves up incredible tonal flexibility. The clean channel excels at sparkling cleans and slightly overdriven bluesy tones. Switch to the lead channel for soaring, saturated tube overdrive that sings and sustains. Add the built-in reverb to immerse your tone in rich ambience. The included footswitch makes it easy to swap channels and turn reverb on and off for complete tonal control.

12" Speaker And EL84 Tubes Capture Vintage Magic

The V22 Infinium's 12" Turbosound speaker and EL84 power tubes authentically reproduce the highly desirable sweet and chiming overdrive tones of classic tube amps. Whether you want shimmering cleans or smooth, singing lead tones, the V22 Infinium delivers the dynamic response and harmonic richness guitarists love from all-tube designs.

Excellent tube tone at any price

I bought my V22 a few years ago, and have had zero issues with it. Like any amp, after alot of use, I've had to change the tubes out. These amps do sound alot better with an upgrade to Tung Sol tubes, although there's nothing wrong with the stock tubes either. They're just cheap, like any other amp's stock tubes. I'm using this amp after another professional guitarist introduced me to his V22 in studio. More and more country and blues musicians are choosing to both tour and record in the studio with these. The cleans from this amp are sparkly and fat. Best amp going for country, rivaling higher dollar Matchless and Budda amps for chicken picking. On the dirty channel with the gain around 10 o'clock, you get a wonderful, thick syrupy blues tone that out Fenders any Fenders. Go up to 12 o'clock and you've got a perfect dirty blues tone that cuts through the mix. 3 o'clock gets a perfect classic rock tone. This amp also takes pedals really, really well, can allowing me to use my pedal board fully. The 15 watt setting is perfect for home practice use and the 22 watt setting is great in studio and small venues. Micd up, she's great for any size venue.

Poor quality

This is my first and last Bugera product. I just can't say enough about the poor quality of this amp. No long stories, but instead the list of items that do not work on this new amp after 6 months of light use: 1. Reverb 2. Channel selector 3. Bad tube If you spend a few minutes searching the internet for related problems you will see first hand the issues with this amp many others have had. When I bought it, the amp had a higher rating and I did fall for the cheaper price. But once again, you get what you pay for.

I added a second turbosound 1x12 cab to match the combo speaker. The sound is full and what I look for in a small combo. Virtually 0 problems, 0 complaints I prefer the clean channel, and pedals at low volume to add controlled distortion.

This has been a great amp for me. Excellent at blues and Rock-N-Roll. I also have a Marshall DSL40CR and both serve my purposes and needs. The Bugera's clean sound using any of my Semi-Hollow electrics is a heavenly sound for me, especially blues. I've had it almost a year and couldn't be happier with it. Tone quality it produces is amazing, no matter the cost.

  • I would recommend this and great for the price .

This amp sounds amazing! I bought this to replace my 12-year-old Vox AD5 which broke, and this amp is so much better! I like the clean channel, the reverb sounds awesome, but I would say that the gain channel is a little fizzy sounding when the gain knobs goes past 6. This amp also takes effect pedals really well. Overall a great purchase!

I don't gig I play at home only and I play mainly blues and classic rock. This amp meets all my needs and I amp happy. I did a lot of research on this amp and I suggest you go and read as many gear reviews as you can. That way you know what to expect and you will not be let down. If you play with a lot of distortion this is not the amp for you go with the Blackstar HTR-5 in the same price range. I did a lot of reading from many sites to the point that when I got it home I had tips on how to set it up to get the tones I wanted. I wrote down 3 setting and I am happy with what I have for the money I paid.

  • Love it.

There have been three versions of this amp. a good way to tell them apart is by the color of the jewel light that indicates the power is on. what color is the jewel light when this amp is powered on:blue, red, or amber?
