Description
The Bugera V55HD Infinium 55W 2-channel tube head brings you exceptional vintage tone and modern versatility. This hand-built amp head features 3x12AX7 preamp tubes and 2x6L6 power tubes for 55W of all-tube power. With two independent channels, you can set up different tones for clean and overdriven sounds. Shape your tone further with the 3-band EQ. And add dimension with the built-in reverb.
Extend Tube Life Up to 20x Longer With Infinium Technology
Bugera's patented Infinium Tube Life Multiplier technology lets you get up to 20x more play time out of your tubes. It continually monitors and adjusts the performance of each tube to evenly distribute the workload. This prevents premature wear. The Infinium circuit also compensates for low AC line voltage. And when a tube does eventually need replacement, handy LEDs let you know which one to change.
Achieve Vintage Tone With an All-Tube Design
The V55HD utilizes 3x12AX7 preamp tubes and 2x6L6 power tubes for an authentic vintage tone. The 12AX7 tubes in the preamp deliver everything from pristine cleans to saturated overdrive. And the 6L6 tubes are known for their dynamic response and rich harmonics when pushed hard. Together, they provide the warm, touch-responsive distortion and natural compression that players love from classic tube amps.
Get Versatile Tones With Dual Independent Channels
With its two independent channels, the V55HD gives you tonal flexibility. Set up one channel for shimmering clean tones. Then dial in some crunch on the second channel for lead playing. The included footswitch makes it easy to switch channels for different parts of a song. The 3-band EQ further allows you to tweak the tonal balance to suit your guitar and playing style.
Dial in Your Signature Sound With the 3-Band EQ
Having complete tonal control is crucial for sculpting your signature guitar tone. The V55HD Infinium's 3-band EQ puts that power at your fingertips. The low band controls the bass response, letting you tighten up the low end or add thunderous oomph. The midrange shapes the core of your tone, from scooped and transparent to full-bodied growl. Treble dictates the crisp bite and sizzle up top. Whether you need warm jazz tones, searing rock leads or anything in between, the 3-band EQ has you covered.
Add Dimension With Built-In Reverb
The onboard reverb adds spaciousness and depth to your tone. Dial in just a touch to thicken up a clean sound. Or crank it for more wash when playing leads. Either way, the reverb provides extra dimension to customize your sound.

This is a very LOUD amp, with great cleans, best I ever heard. I pair it with a HB 2x12 cab, and its sounds amazing. Wish it had 4 chs instead of 2, otherwise you do have to make manual changes sometimes, but its definitely idiot proof for live performance lol. And rugged
Amazing vintage tone!

I bought this amp as a backup and it might just replace my Egnater as my main amp. It sounds fantastic.

I ditched my beloved Twin Reverb, boxy Blues Junior and downright jittery Blues Deluxe for a Bugera T-50, V22 and now the V55 (to get the 6L6 clean back in my house.) I love them all. It's SO easy to dial in great tones. I set all knobs to 5 and make minor tweaks to 4 or 6. Simple. I do have great speaker cabs containing Celestion Alnico Cream, Jensen C12K, Heritage Greens and V30s, so that helps, but I have a field day mixing and matching. All sound great with the different tube heads (T-50 EL34s, V22 EL84s and V55 6L6s.) They all have great personalities that add warmth and fun to my SSS Strat, P-90 SG and HH Les Paul. The V55 reminds me most of the clean Twin, but a more manageable 55 watts I can switch/cut to 22. Also, unlike the Twin, you have clean and dirty foot-switchable channels, gain and master volumes. Vintage sound, great, deep cleans and a beautiful gain structure. Super on-board digital reverb (and remember, I owned the Twin.) Test these out, put a little of the money you'll save toward your speakers and have a blast.
