Product does what it is supposed to do. Replaces long DMX cable runs. I am using it to send signal from controller to light rack at far end of dance floor typically about 50' away. It realy helps to avoid the liability of tripping hazards associated with running cable to far side of room and speeds up setup. Only issue I had was not being able to get the "auto signal detect" to work. Had to use manual channel detect but it worked fine once I set the channel manually.

Bought 4 of these. One to transmit, one for a front truss and one for a back truss. The fourth one is when I run two front trees instead of the front truss. They work great. The 2.4 Ghz frequency is starting to be crowded, but with 16 channels to choose from you should be OK. When I unboxed everything, I pre-programmed the transmitter and receivers to Ch. 1. When I unpowered and re powered it rememberd the settings. The cases have two mounting slots in the case and a Vecro strap for mounting. I'm not going to leave the receivers mounted on the trusses because I don't want them broken by accident. you can see at a glance that they are transmitting / receiving by looking at the flashing green light. Good price too. I mounted the transmitter on a mic stand with a boom for extra height, (about 7' high off the ground). Always have the transmitter as high as possible for extra range.
