    This is the second unit I have purchased because it works so well. If you are running a lot of import DMX lighting fixtures, this is a must. Import fixtures began having DMX control issues when stringing a lot of them together or when long DMX cable runs are tying groups of them together. Use this DMX splitter to break your fixtures up in groups like, front wash, rear wash, moving lights and special effect light. This will provide more stable control over the entire system.

    It worked, right out of the box! It allowed to identify a couple of marginal cables, and allowed our lighting package to really shine. If I have to have a complaint, the DMX activities indicator LEDs are really bright (I may hay to gel them, and include them as part of the show)

    Look no further for the Chauvet Data Stream 4 DMX Splitter - this product plain and simple is the best bang for your buck. While I was first starting to work on a mix for one of my artists my Shall 52 broke down and we needed the interface component immediately. Alls we needed was the electrical isolation from the input to the output. Once that was taken care of we were up and running.
