The Chauvet Hurricane 700 Fog Machine gets the fog bank rolling with a 450W heater that puts out 1,500 cubic feet of fog per minute. The Hurricane 700 has a tank capacity of .8L, and comes with a free pint of fog juice. This Chauvet fogger also has a manual fog button, and is packaged with a wired remote (FC-1). In only 4 minutes the Hurricane 700 fogger is heated up enough to provide a great atmospheric effect at your event.

    The unit was sitting in storage after little use for not very long. When I needed it for an event, the 2 units I used appeared clogged and the copper filters that feed juice from the bottle were corroded. One unit began working but hardly produced enough in a 10'x10' area which I was hoping it would fill a small cultural hall. Did not produce a lot of smoke over a minute and required minutes between shoots to charge. Buying the cleaning solution and using it after each use along with checking to see that it's not clogged before a gig is essential.

    This fogger only has a 1 minute duty cycle and stops. Then you have to wait 3 minutes for another 1 minute puff, then 3 more minutes for another 1 minute puff. I have a Venue fogger of similar price that I also bought at GC that has a 5 minute duty cycle and actually puts out dense fog in a usable amount. This was a waste of money.

    This fogger only puts out "fog" for about 1 minute after a 5 minute warm up, then you have to wait another 2 minutes for a second tiny puff. Also, the On switch of the remote is a momentary contact switch so you cannot leave it on, you must be at the remote and push it on. I have a Venue brand fogger in the same price range that is far better. This unit's "fog" is more like smoke and rises to the ceiling almost instantly. Do not buy this unit if unless you are looking for a smoke machine that can't fill anything bigger than a closet before turning off. I have been happy with the other Chauvet products I have bought but this is no good.

    When I got this I thought it was going to be large and bad quality. I was wrong! First off, it is very compact and portable. Second it shoots pretty far. For the best effects though I found that the Chauvet brand of juice does the best job. Overall I love it and would recommend it!!!
