So the Jam Pack Gold lighting pack from Chauvet is a mix of good and bad in my opinion. Ill start with the good first. The Derby and the Laser are both very good in my opinion. They both have good distance on the beams, have awesome light patterns and just look awesome. Use fog though if you want it enhanced even more! For what they are though, they are solid and work both for at home party use and mobile DJing. Now for the Neutrals of the pack. The fog machine will be the main focus of the neutral. It does a decent job at throwing fog and making a slight haze but other than that it isn't the best. I'm not giving it a bad rating because it still does a mediocre job. It is also a manually activated fog. Which is completely preference based but in my opinion is a bad thing. Lastly the bad. The light bar. The light bar is pretty terrible in my opinion. It is roughly a foot and a half long and is made up of about 10 LED's. It gives off almost no light and the strobe is practically useless. The other bad thing about this pack is that pretty much all of my sound activation doesn't work at all. I may have gotten a dud pack but it is what it is. I have only gotten it to work with the derby but that was having a very loud speaker roughly an inch from the mic. The sensitivity option does basically nothing. All in all I would recommend people buy everything separately. It is not worth even close to as much money as they are asking for it. Buy everything piece by piece and have an actual solid system.
