    I've tried to organize to be prepared to perform effectively in small venues where you have to back off on percussion volume (somewhat comparable to playing in a recording studio). Though I haven't yet had time to play around with this dude, my plan is to use it on select songs, laying it on the head of a floor tom, and striking it with so-called "spaghetti sticks" (or maybe even nylon or steel brushes), with ability to adjust the drumhead tension on the tambourine so that the tone balance favors the jingle. (we'll see.)
