The Guitar Grimoire, "Chords & Voicings" is an in-depth guide to thousands of movable voicing with a wide variety of chord types. Each Chord voicing is accompanied with scales that appropriately and successfully color the chord. The Guitar Grimoire, "Chords & Voicings" is WORTH buying and studying. Though I will say that a prior knowledge of music theory and chord functions will be a great help upon cycling through this book. Itۡs slightly complicated and can be confusing upon first glance.

  • Great book for a serious learner

This is a book for a person who wants to learn a lot about the guitar and chord composition. As a beginner, I was told to buy this book because it is a book of chords. I highly recommend this to any level player. It is worth its' price and then some.

  • Must have for serious guitarist.

This book does not teach you how to play guitar. It teaches you how to identify all of the notes in a particular chord. This allows you to play your own personal unique sound for any given chord. If you are a weekend guitarist, there are other easier books to help you find the "one common way to play C Major". But this book shows you all 100+ ways to play C major--and just about every other chord you'll need. Plus it shows you how to construct chords. To me, the first 8 pages alone are worth double the price of the book. Check out his other books in the Grimoire series to collect everything you need to know about chords. A most worthwhile investment.
