Good action on the Keys (like a high-quality piano)?
The Casio Celviano AP-750BK actually does have very good key action — definitely among the better ones for a digital console piano, especially at its price point. It uses Casio’s Smart Hybrid Hammer Action Keyboard, which blends wood and synthetic materials in the keys. This gives a closer feel to an acoustic grand, with a nice weight and a responsive, graded touch (heavier in the bass, lighter in the treble, like a real piano). The "hybrid" part is important — the wood adds stability and a more organic feel under your fingers. The action on the AP-750BK is quieter, smoother, and more realistic than older Celviano models, and it even has features like key-off simulation (capturing how the sound changes when you lift your fingers) and escapement (a subtle click feeling, like a grand piano has when a key is pressed lightly). Overall, it’s very playable and expressive, even for more serious classical or jazz players.submitted4 months ago
