I didn't quite understand what I was getting when I ordered this, and that's on me. I was hoping to find a small keyboard with some onboard sounds so I could practice while traveling. Unfortunately this keyboard is more geared toward kids than I realized. The keys are quite short at 3.25 inches long. Most of that space is taken up by black keys, so you only have about 1.25 inches of space to play most of the white keys. That's not really enough space for an adult's hands. The keys are also slightly narrower than usual and very easy to press, so it's easy to hit the wrong key by accident. You get the same sound out of a key no matter how hard you press it, and the acoustic piano sounds leave a lot to be desired. So if you're serious about piano and looking for a compact instrument for practice, I'd look elsewhere. Anyway, once you get past that stuff, this is actually a really fun little keyboard. The melodic percussion tones sound great, and there are some other surprisingly good sounds in this thing. I think this would be a lot of fun for a kid.

where to find a case for it
There's no branded case. What type of protection is required? Cases are expensive. I have the Road Runner ATA Style Utility Case Black Small but that's more than the unit. Please give us a call – 855-770-3373.submitted2 years ago
