Danny Gill has a great deal to offer. The lessons are to the point and are great for anyone who is looking to learn great songs. The let me put this into context phrase can get old, but that is what he is doing. Anyone wanting to understand the melody and the lead licks just need to rewind if they get lost. I own both of the Satriani Dvds and they are absolutely worth the price.

Who would be better to be on this DVD than one of Satriani's own students?! The teacher is very good in showing and telling of modes and positions. Because of this I would not tell a novice to get it. someone who has a basic knowlege of scales and even theory would find it easy though. You can get lost here and there if you rely on the teacher to tell you the fret. For sometimes he does not tell or you cannot understand him but it is very rare. Overall it is a great DVD and it will not only teach you classic Satriani but also neat little motions and sounds Satriani does as with other great guitarists.
