Cordoba GK Studio Limited Flamenco Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural

Description
Córdoba Guitars is proud to offer the GK Studio Limited, an acoustic-electric nylon-string flamenco guitar that breaks new ground. For a limited time, the popular GK Studio model features rare and striking ziricote back and sides, yielding a rich, bassy tone preferred by flamenco players. The GK Studio Limited delivers the visual drama of exotic wood with the comfort, playability and electronics demanded by today's gigging guitarist.
Ziricote Back and Sides Provide Exotic Looks and Robust Tone
One look at the GK Studio Limited's ziricote back and sides and you'll be entranced by its green/gray sheen and intense spiderwebbing grain. Ziricote's density gives this guitar a distinctly rosewood-like sound, with warm, rounded bass notes and smooth, singing highs. Close your eyes and you'd swear this was the finest rosewood. Visually and sonically, ziricote makes a bold statement.
Premium Fishman Electronics Capture the Guitar's Full, Vibrant Tone
The GK Studio Limited comes equipped with Fishman Presys Blend electronics, allowing you to amplify this guitar's robust tone for any live performance. Intuitive controls for volume, midrange and body sensor make it easy to shape your sound, from an open, airy tone to a focused, percussive attack. Powered by a 9V battery, the Presys Blend system opens up a world of possibility for nylon-string players on stage.
Traditional Spanish-Style Construction Enhances Resonance
Córdoba didn't cut corners in crafting the GK Studio Limited. Featuring a solid European spruce top with traditional Spanish fan bracing, this guitar resonates freely with full, even tone. The lightweight mahogany neck and 19-fret ebony fingerboard provide a familiar feel for steel-string players, while delivering the fast playability demanded for flamenco techniques.
Satin Finish and Gold Tuners Offer Dashing Good Looks
From its maple binding and hand-inlaid rosette to gold tuning machines with rosewood buttons, the GK Studio Limited is designed to turn heads. A high-gloss satin finish accents the guitar's exotic ziricote and spruce tonewoods, capturing their beauty in a smooth, glassy sheen. Now available at Guitar Center, this stylish and stage-ready flamenco guitar makes a visual statement as bold as its tone.

The build quality and the stunning looks of the guitar is enough for me. The sound is very well balanced, all strings sing out evenly and nothing sticks out. As a flamingo guitar, It's wonderful. As an everyday player,It's wonderful.

I've owned two other classical guitars and find the Cordoba GK Studio to have the lightest action and most vibrant sound of any of them. I did change the strings to a D'Addario light action type to realize an excellent light action without any buzz. It's an awesome value.
Hands down the best sub 1K Flamenco available.

There are some very exotic woods at play here. Its beautiful, bright and brilliantly constructed. Hands down the best sounding and playing Flamenco in the sub 1K range.

The finish is beautiful. The wood is slightly darker than I expected , however I really like it. I use it for playing flamenco and jazz styles, although you could play any style. The neck is sized between a Classical and Electric guitar. Very easy to play for any level guitarist. I haven't tried the electronics yet.

The guitar is well made and plays well, especially for the money. My more experienced friends like it so I feel confident in the decision. The guitar comes with no case and the Cordoba's hard case is pretty expensive. I don't expect a hard case to be included at this price point but some kind of protection would be nice. I bought a Road Runner hard case to keep the guitar humidified.
Amazing Sounds

The clarity that comes out of this is astounding. Nice highs with just enough warmth in the lows to have the sound hug and not push. Had a C5CE which was really good but not anything in comparison to this.
