Planet Waves Always

Bought cheap patch cables, you know the ones out of the plastic fish bowl, that can't flex or bend to simply connect your stomps with no binding. Well a new one of those started buzzing and didn't want that to happen on stage so went with the Planet Waves 3 pack of patch cables and cleared up the signal and fit nice on the board. Decided to redo the whole cable (guitar/speaker/cab) line plus got another 3-pack for backup but don't think it will be an issue. Higher quality but not with the MONSTER price. Thanks Planet Waves!!! Plus I love their Satriani guitar straps too!

Cables are longer than advertised

The cables are about 10 inches plug to plug. 6 inches is the length of the cable itself between the two stress relief sections. This might leave excess cable in the way on your pedal board (and increases the capacitance of your chain very slightly). Initial quality looks fine. May be more flexible than sturdy.we'll see how they last They don't seem to have a solid click into the jacks of my pedals, but it probably is not an issue if fixed on a board. Good value.

  • Plug is too short, have to trim to work properly

Cables mostly work fine, but sometimes would pop-out on their own from pedals. Why? The molding is a bit too far on the plug as shown in the photo so they are slightly short. Have to trim 1/8" off with a utility knife, then no more issues. Was easier to trim than bother returning. #sweepstakes

The cables are extremely flexible and easy to place on a crowded board.

Had one simply give out before a gig. No signal whatsoever, but the cables still have no wear or fraying. I am replacing all of them immediately! Purchased only a year ago with regular use on a pedal board.
