This Planet Waves O-Port is proven to enhance the sound of any acoustic guitar and kill feedback without the use of electronics. It's has been tested under the scrutiny of world-renowned acoustic engineers and sound producers to improve tonal quality. The result is a fuller, richer sound with noticeably increased sustain and harmonic range. The tonal enhancement provided by the Planet Waves O-Port is particularly pronounced when the acoustic guitar is plugged in and amplified, resulting in a much fuller sound, a stronger signal to the internal pickup, and significant feedback control. The Planet Waves O-Port fits in most acoustic guitars with a round soundhole, regardless of make or model.

The Planet Waves O-Port's material is custom blended for flexibility to prevent damage to your guitar finish and inlays. The O-Port suppresses feedback and gives your acoustic or acoustic-electric guitar a fuller sound with more volume, better clarity, and enhanced projection.

Just measure your acoustic guitar's soundhole and choose the Planet Waves O-Port that fits best.

Wow!!!

First off I was very skeptical. A piece of plastic to put in the soundhole of my Martin that will make it sound better? Yeah right! Well it did just that, more lows, more focused sound and no feedback through amplification. If you own an acoustic, buy one. Period.

This item made any guitar sound terrible

The O-port marketing and packaging boast of increased projection and tone. From owning one and using it in several different guitars and with trusted listeners sitting across the room, I've found that it does alter the projection and tone, but not to make a guitar sound fuller or louder. I found a sharp reduction in the "boxy" sound of every guitar, as well as a decrease in volume, less vibration from the top of the instrument, and loss of mid and high frequency. That being said, what I've described is essentially how a guitar like an Ovation differs from a normally constructed acoustic. The sound is much, much, much more scooped in the mids, and it sounds glassy and sterile. Go ahead and buy one if you wish you had cheap sounding Ovation. I can't help but wonder if the designers of the O-port keep one in their personal guitars. I don't imagine that being the case, at least not for long.

This product came pretty much as described, and once I got it in my guitar, it works pretty well, and I can definitely hear the difference. Getting the O-Port in, however, proved to be a little difficult. While trying to get it in, it cracked, luckily it doesn't really matter once it's in. It was very difficult to fit in into the sound hole, the crack probably made it a lot easier to get it in. Overall, it does what it advertised, but isn't the easiest product to install, and feels a little cheap.

I don't think this is worth a penny. Does very little of anything at all. I thought I would try it out for fun because I was bored. As I thought. It does nothing. A real waste of money. They should give away for free. Charging someone money for this is a real joke

Takes a little bit to install, but the results are there. Projection, clarity and focus. It's not an EQ pedal or cheap tonal miracle, but a nice enhancement.
