Great for a heavy axe, but...

I picked up a Les Paul recently and decided to buy this strap to deal with weight issues that LP's can cause. I was very happy with it at first, but then I noticed that the straps slips through the buckle. I can start a set with the guitar right where I want it, but then it begins to drop and every ten minutes I have stop to put things back in place. This being said, I think it's still worth the money I paid for it.

Decent strap for the money

This is a decent strap for the money. The padding is a bit thin and stiff, and it moves around inside the fabric, so it's sometimes necessary to readjust it. However, the strap itself is relatively comfortable, sturdy and seems like it will securely hold the instrument.

This strap is comfortable. I don't have the heaviest bass but it's still got some heft to it and I'm comfortable standing with this strap.

So it is a really nice strap. Well padded and very, very comfy. However, I don't know how long it'll last because the ends are thin. I guess time will tell. My overall rating is how it is today.

  • My favorite strap!

I use this strap on all of my heavy guitars and my double neck. The extra inch helps relieve weight on my neck and back when playin shows that are two hours or more.
