Best thing since sliced bread

Did your acoustic come with only one strap button? Don't want to drill a hole in your guitar and risk ruining it? Then don't! I bought a nice acoustic with only one button. I wasn't keen on drilling another hole and possibly messing up my guitar. I thought of tying a string around the neck. Then I heard about this. Same principle, but they added a quick release buckle to the equation. This makes strapping on your acoustic an easy proposition - and no risk of messing up your guitar! It's a great system and cheap to boot. Something you can afford to put on every acoustic you own. For best results, string it around so the loop is on the back side of the headstock - you'll get better balance and easier access to the first fret.

Not at all great.

"Quick release"? I don't think so. Had to use a pair of pliers to open it and even then it was a struggle. Sloped shape and slipper with a very strong spring, just wouldn't open. Also adds too much length to strap for a small person -- had the strap adjusted as small as it could get and still too long.

I was skeptical to strap one of my nicer acoustics to this product but it has done beautifully and saved me from having to attach a strap peg to the neck. Highly recommend. Easy to use and inexpensive solution.

Who wants to drill a strap button into a nice guitar? Not me. These things work great. They are very secure and it's a bit hard to release the strap when taking it off which is what I want instead of it popping off easily and leading to a guitar disaster. Cheap price -what's not to like!

Simple product, but works well, plus I like the quick snap to disconnect from the guitar.
