    It works. It a great price. Why not? I use it on the Mix outputs on my A&H QU-16 to connect it to the 1/4" snake.

    I have to connect a guitar cable into the mic port on an audio interface to track my guitar into my computer. Will this adapter work for that? If not, what am I looking for?

    Yes it will work. You may get a bit of noise with it, but that can be remedied by lowering the volume on the signal from it's source (If using a guitar, turn the volume down on it) then turn up the volume in the DAW.
