I bought these because of a rave review, and they are so weak that they simply do not work on my Ramirez. I have always used high tension strings, and now I know why. It sounds tinny with these and sounds great with high tension ones, that I can actually put some force into playing it.

Put a set of these on a mid level Espana Classical Guitar and could not believe the difference in sound. Definite improvement. Put the extra coffee colored G string on that is included in the set. It helps the tuning between the center D and G strings, always a hard pair to tune right.

I have been playing flamenco for over 46 years. I tried just about all th strings out there. I used Savarez red card forl many years until about 7 years ago when I discovered these medium tension composite strings. They have the loudest and best sounding base strings I have ever used. They really last a very long time. It takes a few hours break in time for them to really come alive. This set comes with two G strings. The beige colored G string is much brighter and it is the one I use instead of the regular one they provide. One of the best makers of guitars in the world recommended these strings to me. He puts them on all his new guitars that he hand builds. Most makers like this brand since it does not color the sound of their instrument. Medium tension strings, in my opinion, are the best for expensive and sensitive guitars. They are more flexible and pliable than higher tension strings which are hard on the left hand. These strings are useful to classical guitar players as well as flamenco players.
