    These are too low tension when tuned up for my Irish tenor. They sound good and are easy to play, but they are low volume--which might be a good thing in certain circumstances. The main problem though, is that it is impossible to play in tune with them, because the low tension makes the pitch bend severely when you put pressure behind the fret.
