I've been a guitarist for a long time and have recently added Mandolin to my arsenal for the gigs we play. I replaced my strings with a set of these and man oh man what a positive difference!!!! The tone is very clean and crisp and powerful. My wife, a non-musician, remarked how much better my Mandolin sounded with these on as opposed to the old set. I will most definitely go back to these when a change is due. I heartily encourage you to try them. You'll be glad you did.
