    I've tried a lot of strings. These tune up rather quickly, some strings can stretch and stretch but these firm up pretty quick. The tension is easy, not real tight or hard to hold down. Of course with uke strings you will retune first several times you use, but these stayed in tune.

    These strings really opened up my ukulele. It sounded a little dull with the strings that came on it. The volume and sustain increased more than I could have hoped for with these strings. Took a good sounding ukulele and made it great

    They are "D'Addario's bright sounding titanium material". I don't know exactly what that is. They're not metal.
