D'Addario ENR71 Half Rounds Light Bass Strings

Description
Wound with pure nickel, then precision ground, leaving the outer surface smooth and "semi-flat." They retain the flexibility and many of the tonal characteristics of round wound strings. Half Round heat-treating process increases the brightness of the strings. Long scale.

really slick
these strings are really amazing. i switched to these from ernie ball super slinkys and i love them. They really increase tone and cut down on noise, without losing any bright sound. I'm mainly a jazz and funk/rock player, and these give me smooth tone for jazz but also bright and punchy tone for slapping and playing rock.

Most lifeless strings I've ever tried!
I have been Using GHS pressurewounds, thought I'd give these a try. Big mistake they sound like flatwounds that are 30 years old plenty of thump if that's what you need but not to my taste. I'll stick with GHS thanks bit more money but worth it. these are unusable as far as I'm concerned.

The Half Rounds are much easier on the fingers. Tone remains the same.
