I was never satisfied with traditional string tensions. The Balanced Tension strings always feel right, the way I always wanted. D'Addario strings sound great, and I've never gotten a bad string. Super consistent, reasonable price. #sweepstakes

I was debating between these and a "normal" set of EXL170's (45-100). I've always been happy with D'Addario's strings, but I haven't played a balanced tension set before. After having done so, I have to admit that I like the change from "normal" sets. I'm not sure if I'll buy again in the future instead of going back to something cheaper and saving my money, but I'm definitely enjoying this set of strings while I've got them.
