    Got these Strings from Sam Ash a year ago. I am not a experienced player but I do all of my own setups and I know a good tone when I hear it. These Strings were fantastic day one but didn't hold a a tune very well for about a week. This is usually the case with most strings. After they settled in the tone was great for about 4 months then they start to lose that bright new sound. I play a lot of styles from blues to rock. No metal so not sure how they sound with that. My intonation was perfect and I still have these Strings. I rarely change my strings unless they break or rust and these haven't broken or rusted. Easy to bend. My Setup: Guitar: Yamaha SE300H Dual Humbucker's. Stock. Amp: Fender 40 Watt Amp Pedals: None Action: As Low As Possible Guitar Tone: Set at 10 Guitar Volume: 10
