Envisioned, perfected, and manufactured by DAddario in New York, this newly engineered, break-resistant, high-carbon steel core and plain steel alloy delivers a whole new level of freedom, confidence, and power. NYXLs provide more strength and up to 131% greater tuning stability by utilizing a completely reinvented wire drawing process coupled with a revolutionary fusion twist process for the plain steels.

The reformulated nickel-plated string windings have greater magnetic properties resulting in higher output and enhanced mid-range frequency response for more presence and crunch.

    Fantastic, I use these on my Kiesel VM8, and it works great. I am a shredder and these can bend like crazy. I don't have to worry about them breaking which is always a plus. Work Great for Drop E! I also like to use DAEadgbe with these strings the multi-scale helps with that though. I would go up to an 85 if tuning lower then an Eb with a 27' scale, if that is your case.This string company continues to not disappoint me.

    I have recently switched to this brand and model of strings. I use 27 scale baritone 7 string and use the lowest 7 for Drop F#, it holds tuning well after being stretched in. Great tone and response. have been using one pair for over 2 months as of right now and still sound great and stay in tune
