    I just bought a Taylor 254 3 months the strings were fresh I did not need new strings . I just put XT strings so much I put them on my 12 string. I loved the elixirs the guitar car with by the XT's are step up I. Both sound and feel. I'm so impressed I ordered a set of XT nylon strings for my classical .
