i bought this pick guard for a parts caster i'm putting together and read one of the reviews and saw one person mentioned that the 5 way switch selector slot was to narrow and he used a exacto knife to open it up with a scratch due to sliping with a bad result . if i may i saw it is too narrow for a Fender switch so i thought to use a nail emory board sanding both sides smooth alittle at a time which worked for me :)

I bought this item in blue and it was very nice. Good quality and nice color. Unfortunatly as i was putting it on i realised 3 of the holes did not line up correctly with the holes on my strat. I left it because it still worked good enough for what i needed but if your looking for a perfect fit I wouldent recommend.

Pickup selector didn't fit through the new Pickguard. I needed it on right away after taking apart. Unfortunately, I put slice into the new pickguard as I was trying to enlarge the opening. Should have returned. Maybe they will offer a replacement as good customer service.

  • I wouldnt buy in the future. But I should have returned it.

The opening on the pickguard for the switch/pickup selector didn't fit. I already had everything out and ready to install, so I didn't want to return it. I had to cut the opening a little bigger. Unfortunately the exacto knife I used, slipped on me and cut a small scratch onto the pickguard. Real bummer.
