The guitar was a dream. 24 3/4 scale length with trem and flat radius fret board. Awesome. I bought it and the longer I had it the more I realized how much D'Angelico must put into their work/ QC. The trem was garbage and wouldn't stay flat ( I like my trem decked) the tuners were garbage and wtheck...off center. This guitar was built and designed and you can see it on most of these models how the pole pieces for the SC pup are so off that it's comical. I know it's not a big deal when the pole pieces don't line up exact but man...I thoughht I'd like to change the pots and add some switches because I like to mod my guitars. It's just no good. The wood, the pots, the ...man, just look somewhere else for a different guitar or spend a little more to have one built.
Stellar in every way!

Thie guitar is incredible, as with every other D'angelico product today. It took me a while to love the offset maple neck look, but now I think this guitar looks incredibly sharp. The contour of the body fits perfectly when playing and feels very comfortable. The maple neck is very slim and is easy to navigate, even for smaller hands. But the best feature of this is the unique tones created by the Stacked Single Coil and the Bridge Humbucker set up. The Guitar sounds incredible plugged into my Blackstar amp, and I even love hearing it played acoustic. For a solid body guitar, it has incredible sustain and sound when played acoustically. Love the look of it and love the sound! Get one now!
