Steve Dadaian Shreds with DDT Strings by DR Strings

DR Strings Company Video

Description
Now you can "stand and deliver" in-tune notes at lower pitches that are clean and clear-plus you can drop tune with confidence and accuracy. You'll be surprised how few adjustments you'll make to change tunings and will be even more surprised how well DR Drop-Down Tuning strings lock into tune.
Experienced players comment: "Tuned down, I was never able to play a favorite riff. It always came out muddy and garbled. Now it is crystal clear. I am going to record it and give it to my bandmates, who could not hear it before."
DR DDT strings deliver far more than just heavy gauges-they deliver impeccable tone.
Extra Heavy gauges: 11-15-19-32-42-54.

Clear tone and awesome harmonics
I recently had my Dean Razorback installed with these strings, But my low E is the 54. I play Thrash, Deathcore, and Pantera syled riffs in Drop C and these strings produce such an amazing tone. Having a Razorback and being a huge fan of Darrell Abbott(R.I.P. BROTHER!), I love doing harmonic squeals, or "Dime Squeals." These strings are perfect for just that. Harmonics last longer than ever, and the tone is always sharp. Whether youre playing on the clean or distorted channel, your guitar will slice through like a knife and be crystal clear. I reccomend these strings to anybody who plays in dropped tunings. If you want to take your sound to a whole new level, try these out. I'll never go back to Ernie Ball or D'addario ever again.

Been using these for years, I replace them only when I feel I need to. I haven't broken a string since I started using these. Not much else I can say. #sweepstakes

Works great for drop tuned tones, I play Gibson les Paul's with high gain pickups and high gain amps, I'm a ernie ball guy for the most part but when I do any drop tunes I find the dr strings shine the most, they retain great tension on my les Paul's where as the ernie balls have more of a flubbery feel to them with my les Paul's

I was introduced to Dunlop strings when they were running Heavy Core for Drop-Down Tuning. Very well constructed and much better longevity compared to most store named brands and I'd even go far as Ernie Balls as well. Due to the oil my skin produces most strings don't last long with me, if I forget to clean them after I get done playing I might write their funeral. But these last me a awhile, even if I forget to clean them. I don't have to buy them as often, they hold tune very well. They do change tone over time, but I believe that's most strings. As a fresh set they are crisp and a little tinny, but once broke in they get very warm and can be very grungy.
