Description
Deep, Resonant .130" Low B String
The highlight of the Lo Rider MH5 130 set is its .130" low B string, which produces a full, resonant tone with piano like depth. The heavy gage also provides stable tuning and reduces unwanted buzzing on the lowest notes. For 5 string bassists seeking a powerful low end, the .130" B string delivers.
Even Tension and Flexible, Long Lasting Construction
DR Strings are made in the USA using high quality materials for a flexible feel and long life. The Lo Rider MH5 130 set is made of nickel plated steel hexagonal cores and stainless steel wrap wire for corrosion resistance, even tension and a smooth playing experience. DR's special core to wrap ratio creates an evenly balanced tension across all strings for comfortable playability.

Great Strings!

I read a few reviews on the strings regarding tone, harmonics, and the highs and lows. Everything was on point. I play a 5 string active Samick with a rosewood fingerboard, maple neck, and P&J configuration. The strings gave my bass a great clarity!
The best strings you can buy

I've been using DR Lowriders for about 8 years now, and I probably won't stop using them until I'm dead, have lost both hands, or they stop making them. The tone is spectacular: crispy high ends, delicate midrange, and growling low end. The low B string stays tight, and doesn't lose it's feel or tone. The strings are stiff right out of the box, and a little grippy on the fretting hand until you get used to them. Perfect for just about any sound, unless you're going for a dull, toneless bass. Highly recommended for skilled players.
