Rare Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Strings are a departure from the standard, good quality bronze string currently available--not necessarily better, but possessing a new, different, and stronger voice.     Replaced strings that came on the guitar and the tone was noticeably improved. This also provided an opportunity to adjust the bridge. Not sure if the bridge adjustment or the strings or both improved the finger action.

    I bought these strings because I wanted to see if there were any affordable strings that were noticeably better than the cheap D'Addario sets that I was buying, and these certainly fit the bill. At first, they were pretty bright, but once broken in they were nice and warm while still retaining great clarity and definition. Even after many hours of use, they still sound and feel just as good or even better than a set of overpriced Elixirs. I definitely recommend these to any player as they are affordale high-quality strings.

    I wanted a cheap guitar so i bought the epiphone dr-100 off here. i replaced the saddle,bridge pins ,and nut with some tusq material that made a big difference. after trying about 5 different sets of strings i decided to give these a shot. NOTHING improved the sound of my guitar like these did. more sustain,bright, full sound, deep lows...just overall amazing. i highly recommend these.
