DR Strings

collapse expand iconDescription

Tite-Fit round-wound nickel-plated electric guitar strings are designed to be a great all-around string. They are available in a wide range of gauges. Based upon a round core, the construction techniques for the Tite-Fit electrics are very old. However, the core wire and wrap wire in DRs are the latest, most advanced and expensive metals available.

For flexibility, for tone, for long life: for Rock, Blues, Heavy metal, Jazz. Tite-Fits are a wonderful all-around string.

  • If they were stolen off of my guitar, I'd buy them again.

I use this set in an Ibanez RG80E. The .80 really cleared up the floppy low string issue with using a .74. This is still my first set and only been on for a week but I have grown to love them so far.

The strings are great quality but I would like to know what kind of guitar these other reviewers are using, because the pack I received literally had an .80 bass guitar string in it for the F. The string was way too long so it wouldn't even fit in my tuning peg. Very disappointing to say the least. I hope I was just unlucky.

  • Very nice strings
