Can't Go Wrong With DW
DW as always did a good job with this pedal, its their low end pedal but don't let that fool you, it has very smooth action and the tension can be adjusted very easily. Also very durable and is a great choice from drummers like me who play a lot of shows.

Pretty Good
These pedals are pretty good. Like the person below me said, they're a lower model, but are pretty good for what they're worth. The only problem I have with them is adjustability is very hard to do. I like these pedals because they're good for technical, complex beats, and won't slip if you're trying to do odd rhythms with them, but not the best for being smooth and fast.

I like these way better than the Speedcobra 310's I previously owned. The only reason I'd possibly choose those over these DW2000s is if you're a heavy heel-toe player and need a long footboard. These just hit harder overall and make my kick a lot punchier sounding.

Fast pedal. Makes getting those fast double-bass notes a snap. Not bad for the price. Only con is that the drum hammers are not padded

a great begginner pedal.... other than that it is not smooth at all and has terrible response dont waste your money if you are looking for long-term pedals. very unstable at high speeds , lots of play in the shaft. i wouldnt reccomend them for heavy metal, the beaters weigh a ton, there is not very many options on the pedal either

As a member of a metal band I really needed to look into a double bass pedal. Noticed this one because of its price. However, don't let the price fool you. This is without a doubt the best bang for your buck. The chains are perfectly fine. You really don't need the double chains. The mallets are fine. Just everything about this is an all around fantastic buy! Trust me when I say I'm not gonna be looking into replacing this any time soon, if ever!
