Great sturdy drum throne!
This is a great buy. It is a very sturdy drums throne and is most important comfortable for me bum. i would definately recommend it to anyone. DW has always had good engineering for their products and this is no exception. Adjusting the seat to just the way i want it was sooo easy! Buy it! I play metal.

Disappointing. Not sturdy.
The wingnuts do not stay tight, thus I need to tighten the DW 5100 throne after every song. This is an easily cured design flaw on DW's end, they know about it, and yet they do not fix it or add an extra locking component. The single wing nut above the tripod is not enough to keep the spindle from moving/unlocking under enthusiastic drummers. The 13" seat is great in theory but gets hard to balance on as the seat creates grooves over time.
