The 6300 Snare Stand features an "old-school" snare basket design with a modern, spring-loaded make over. Other marquis features include a new Glide Tilter™ for exacting adjustment of cymbal and snare drum angles.     The flat base reduces your options for one stand leg going close to another. I found I couldn't get my hat and my snare stand close enough to each other with these flat bases.

    My 6000 ultralight snare stand was not sturdy enough to hold my heavy Dunnett snare. This fit the bill perfectly and I still remained in the flat-based format.
