Light but fully functional
I'll be using these for gigs and theater pit work. The light weight is a big help in transport, also very easy to set up or pack. I'm not a hard-hitter, and I find these stands to be plenty sturdy (I put a 21" ride cymbal on a straight stand, no problem. Hi-Hat bounces a little but doesn't scoot on the floor.

I prefer the light, not ultralight version
Pretty much as advertised. Very light. Great for my back but unfortunately not as sturdy as I would have preferred. I felt uncomfortable putting an expensive snare on the stand. Also felt the hi hat stand was going to fall over a couple times

Great for small venues with limited space.. If you have to carry your stuff upstairs or long distances this is it!
Fantastic option for those looking to travel light.

Overall these things hold up well. I play all genres of music from jazz to hard rock, and never have a problem with these stands, especially the cymbal stands. The snare stand is fine, though feels a little less stable when cross-sticking. The hi-hat stand can be a little wobbly at times. But, assuming a drummer has good cymbal striking technique, there really is no reason to go back to heavier cymbal stands, unless of course one is trying to mount toms off of them. Save your back, go Ultralight!!

Great set of hardware for my practice kit. The ultralight is perfect for exploring your set up... you can move things around without a lot of effort. Also great for gigging, super light, compact, easy to travel with.
Love em'!

This hardware is perfect for a working drummer who would like to cut down on the weight of the trap case. I use heavier stuff for rock gigs with larger groups but these stands are perfect for most of what I do. They are expensive but worth it if you can afford it.
DW delivers again. Solid configuration.

Exceeded expectations. Wish I would purchased this when it first hit the market. If you have to load, set up and break down your own gear, purchase this. Purchased another snare and cymbal stand and the bag is still under 25lbs.

Does the bag have wheels. How is the mobility/carrying?
No wheels, but it's just as easy to carry as a gym bag.
