DW One Beat Stick Holder

Hey guys, this stick holder is awesome...I clamped it to an unused rack tom holder on my Hi hat stand...they dont show it but the two pairs of stick holder rubes can rotate independently to put them at the perfect angle. Should you get one? I used to keep a spare stick in the space next to the floor tom leg...against the wing bolt there. During a particularly energetic cover of Deep Purple's "Smoke on the water" my right stick went flying. It's a law of nature that stick won't be found until after the set...so grab the spare. The new stick gets hung up on the floor tom wing bolt, and the drum tumbles over...taking the ride stand with it. The sound that made was ANYTHING BUT music. So yeah, any stick bag would work, but the DW holder is classy and stylish....even though my 32 year old Tama kit isn't new nor is it DW...but a stick holder is much cooler than a bag. It would probably work better mounted on the floor tom leg...but...I'm still gun shy of doing that...

The clamping piece will not work with my Pearl hardware and will not tighten down correctly. I am returning this item. Maybe this works fine with DW hardware?

I've owned a bunch of various stick holders. Stay away from dog bone style with cheap wing nuts or plastic clip attachments. This kind is best. I attached an unused tom holder on my hi hat stand and this works well. I could buy another and stick this to a floor tom leg too on my right if I wanted.
