Just what the doctor ordered... More hi hats!!! This is more a package set than it appears... You get the high hat holder, a sweet little DW clamp to mount it, and they top it off with their new variable adjustment hi hat clutch. With just a turn of the lever your hats go from open to closed! It's a great idea, and I love mine. Currently mounted with a Bosphorus 15" Turk Series China Hat, this new version of DW's aux hi hat arm is exactly what I needed.

This is typical DW quality. Entire mechanism is well- made, just what one would expect from DW. I'm building out a new kit, realized I depend on the x-hat on my established kit. Used this to position x-hat exactly where I wanted. It is extremely adjustable so got the height, angle, and "squeeze" (closed position) just right

Wanted one of these for awhile. Don't wait to get one. The product viewing for this thing doesn't tell the whole story, in a rare case you will get more than shown. The DW SM-9212 Closed Hi-Hat Boom Arm comes with a MG 3 clamp for easy mounting and a dwsm9213 clutch. Both not shown in the pics above. This thing is easy to postion pretty much anywhere around the kit and the dwsm9213 clutch allows Incremental adjustment of the top HH cymbal. Use it to for HH cymbals/crash/china combo stacking. I've got two 16" crashes on it now for a deep, slushy thing. Viva DW - Fantastic!!!!
