    This arm adapter is rock solid! I use it to attach a large 18" crash cymbal to the back of my boom stand that also holds a 20" ride. This one little part combined with a mini boom arm saves me a whole extra boom stand. The cymbal does bob a little bit under heavy crashing and riding on the crash, but it does not budge. I was very confident in this arms ability to hold up during a 3 hour gig. My guitar player even picked up the whole stand by just grabbing the dogbone! The only thing this arm doesn't do is allow you to change the angle so you have to get creative with your stands, but once you figure it out put a couple of memory locks on and you will be able to repeat the set up.
