    I replaced the booms on my old 5000 stands, and these are awesome! The only complaint is the small nub piece on the boom isn't compatible with the old 5000 series boom stands (mine were bought in 2005). Other than that, great! Would buy again!

    Firstly, I am very impressed with the functionality of the Toothless Tilter with TechLock feature - some seriously good engineering there (which is why I love DW hardware). Very well made. Solid. However, I am a little disappointed with the lack of range that the adjustable cymbal seat has. I was hoping it would be able to move up & down the entire length of the stem that it is attached to. My intention was to create a cymbal stack but the cymbal seat adjustment just fell short of this succeeding. It would have worked had the cymbal seat been able to move all of the way down the stem, closer toward the pivot. I don't see why DW couldn't have given the seat adjuster the entire range of the stem.

    Well the title speaks for its self. These cymbal arms are worth every penny! Brought new life to my cymbals. DW is the BEST in drums and hardware.

    That's it in a nutshell. What more can I say? DW makes great drums, but their hardware is second to none. Almost limitless adjustments, very strong, versatile.
