    I had not realized how much my DW pedal springs had weakened over time. These make your pedals feel new again! Not a big deal to change, but not easy either. I found it was easier to put the more open end on the threaded shaft, and then spread the small end of the triangular wire loop open, slide the spring on, then squeeze the loop closed. If you do that you can change both springs in about 5 minutes. I really wish they made stronger springs for their High Hat stands too.
