    I use this pad a lot. I take it on vacation. I use it while watching TV. II practice more because if it. t's very durable. Originally I thought it was priced too high but I figured I would try it. If I didn't like it, I could always return it. Well it's two years later and I'm still using it frequently. Anything that enables you to practice and improve your technique more frequently, is worth having.

    The pad has a nice feel. The base is very sturdy and most importantly it stays in place. Cheaper knee pads have a tendency to loosen, move around, etc. It costs a little more money but if you practice a lot and practice away from home, it is well worth it. I don't think it is too bulky or heavy, It feels just right to me. I would recommend it. Also, Guitar Center shipped it very fast. Very satisfied.

    1. PLUS: Nice bounce and feel. Very secure. 2. MINUS: Very BEEFY. Much bigger and heavier than I thought. Not TOO transportable (ie, can't just through into your laptop bag)
